These exercises were very different for me. I allow myself to become open-minded do these exercises. During the week I practice listening to these exercises different times each day and night.
The feelings I encounter when I listen to these exercises in morning made me feel refresh and ready to start my day. I was more focus and was able to what was asked of me to do during these exercises. There were a couples times I listen to these exercises after I finish doing my capstone work in my other class and I felt as those these exercises took so much pressure of my mind, I became so relax that I became motionless and I had a very hard time doing what was asked of me to do. When the exercises were about to finish I was able to complete the last task that was asked of me to do, “open my eyes and refocus myself to my surroundings” lol. I continue my classwork without being tired and feeling like I was under heavy pressure as I was before. The last two days I did these exercises after having a rough time at work. I usually do not have rough days at work. But these days were different. When I did these exercise I was able to relax totally again and became motionless. During the exercises I had started focusing in on what had happen at my work place and channeled in on what cause me to have a rough time and I was able to understand the problem and come up with a solution if this type of problem happen again.
These exercises are beneficial and very help for the mind to experience an workout to develop emotion control and to be more stable in an uncontrollable situations.  When I completed these exercises I emailed them to my closest friends to try doing these exercises and be open-minded to the type exercises they have never done before. Some of my friends like it some did not…Oh well you can’t please everyone…lol

Subject: Mental Workout
The concept of mental workout is a daily exercise to evolve the person’s psychospiritual life and to have a clear understanding of the contemplative practice to develop a progress of expanding the person’s consciousness and the healing capacity.
There are two types of contemplative practices, loving-kindness and subtle mind. UNIT 3 The Mind-Body Connection

1.    My reflection on my well-being can be rated as a 7 because I am not comfortable with my weight. When I turn 52 I started being more concern what I eat, how much I eat and what can I do to improve my eating habits. My physical well-being teaches me I need to exercises more to maintain my physical structure of my body. When I have the time to exercise I feel better and I have more physical energy. My spiritual well-being allows me to have those moments with my God who I believe as my Savior. When I spend time praying to God. This allows me to have my personal conversation with him to help me to solve my problems and to clear my mind from the outside world. 4.  The personal experience I had listening to “The Crime of the Century” relaxation exercise was wonder. I totally became so relax as I started the breathing pattern exercise. I could feel my body melting into the chair while the gentleman was talking. I had a hard time trying to visualize the images he wanted me to see while my eyes were closed. I could not stay focus and the more I try to focus on what he want me to visualize the more I became frustrated and tense. So I stop trying to visualize what he wanted me to see and just listen to the calmness of his voice and the frustration went away. When the recording finish I woke up refresh with a lot of energy I felt like I slept for 8 hours
