Assessment:
How have you assessed your health in each domain? How do you score your wellness spiritually, physically, and psychologically?
The assessment within each of the domains that I have with my practitioner and myself is an awesome relationship that he understands and know when I am in serve pain and when I am ok but not feeling good. Our relationship became more spiritual as the years go by due to the extensive care I have been responsible for the last twelve years. My doctor has been very supportive of me. My health he keep me inform of what I need to stay focus on.
Dacher states “The healer and the healee is a joined healing community who are seeking the truth of the person life for the purpose of alleviating suffering at its source and promoting human flourishing”. (Dacher, 2006, pg. 169)
In the last two years I can truly say my score is working up towards a ten towards wellness spiritually, physically and psychologically. This class has really enlighten me on how these areas wellness spiritual, physical and psychological relates to the healing partnership between the individual and the practitioner should have to “alleviate the suffering and promote human flourishing”.
“The seven essential aspects to an integral practice”:
  1. The integral map
  2. The healer
  3. The healee
  4. The integral relationship
  5. The integral diagnosis
  6. The integral prescription
  7. The setting
I will use these seven essential aspects towards an integral practice as a guideline on the experience I should receive from the practitioner’s office to determine if I am comfort with him or her based how he or she listen to me and treat me when I address my problems so we can come to an agreement on how the various methods, remedies or therapies will be integrated to evolve an approach to improve my health and allow me to reach my full potential.
The “Five Guiding Principle, Holistic, Evolutionary, Intentional, Person-Centered, and Dynamic”, has been my personal health map that I used as guideline to empower me start being in charge of my life. (Dacher, 2006, pg.166-167)

Practices for personal health:
What strategies can you implement to foster growth in each of the following domains; Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual. Provide at least two examples of exercises or practices in each domain. Explain how you will implement each example.
The strategies I plan to foster my growth towards the physical, psychological and spiritual stay in tune with my body, maintain my diet, see my doctors on a regular basis, performed any form of exercises daily than I like to do so I can keep reducing my weight.
The two mediation mp3 I enjoyed doing were subtle mind and aesclepian meeting. These mind exercises really relaxes me. The subtle mind put my mind at ease and my body was totally relaxed by allowing my mind to become still and clear of any and all things so I could experience the mental activity of clear thoughts, creative images and enjoying the feelings of being lifeless. (Dacher, 2006, pg. 71).
The aesclepian meeting is an exercise I will do when I had a hard day at work. This exercise allowed my mind to travel and mentally take me to another place in time where good time and fun helped me remove the stress and the anxiety immediately.
These two mediation exercises I will employ in my daily routine.

Unit 8: Optimal Well-being: Psychological, Spiritual and Physical Keys to Health and Thriving
The Aesclepian meeting exercise and the Visualization exercise were my two exercises that were very beneficial to me.
The visualization exercise allowed me to visualize and experience the good times of my life. I like how this exercise starts out to have you think of someone special, a special place, or someone who I had great respect for.  This exercise allowed me to go back to memory lane and good times of many special ones in my life the wonderful place we spent so much time. When I did this exercise I was going to through some sad time and it lifted so much pressure off of me that I felt less tension and more relaxed.
The Aesclepian meeting exercise was an excellent and very beneficial for me. I have never done any type of medication. I really like how the mp3, Aescelpian meeting exercise started. I enjoyed relaxing in my favor chair and learn how to do the breathing pattern and to experience of this medication help me have a more open mind with clear thoughts. The five characteristics of Aesclepian healing, holistic, evolutionary, intentional, person-centered, and dynamic has help me to deal with the minor issues I have with my weight and to make sure my doctors is addressing my needs to be success to lose this weight before graduation ceremony this August, 2012….dorothy

Unit 7  Current Trends and Research Supporting the Mind-Body-Spirit Paradigm

Unit 7 Question #1 – (Meeting Aesclepius mp3)
The meeting Aesclepius mp3 was great. I did this exercise with my girlfriend. She stated that I started off with a big smile came on my face when it was ask of me to think of someone I honored and loved. She told me I became so relax that my body became lifeless then minutes later I went into a deep sleep and stayed asleep 45 minutes later after the mp3 finished.

Unit 7 Question #2
The say “On cannot lead another where one has not gone himself” is a very true statement.  It is hard to tell somebody to have regular checks to practice preventive maintenance regarding your health when you see the doctor only when you are hurting, feeling sick, or a major problem develop to cause you to become deathly ill. It is hard to inform somebody to keep in touch or find the right wellness professional who suits your needs, understand you as a person, is concern with your well-being and you do not have a doctor or the last time you seen a doctor since  your job physical  or you do not have one of your own.
The wellness professional must take the time with each of his or her patient to make a connection of where the mental well-being is so the practitioner can relate to their psychological. The patient’s physical capacity is required for the practitioner to make sure they are staying healthy, eating right, exercising and getting enough rest. The practitioner who is totally concern about his patient’s well-being keep a record and records all visit so he can review and take notice of any improvement on the patient’s part of taking care of him or herself.
I believe for you to develop your spiritual side is to read God’s word, go to church and listen to the preach work from a preacher. It helps you to understand the bible messages and learned how to apply God’s word to your everyday living on how to treat people with love and kindness, be more understanding to a person’s needs, be more compassion, and live by the holy words of God.

Unit 6 - Exercises for Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness and Healing

Loving and Kindness mind exercise
The final stage of loving-kindness mind exercise was different for me. I had my girlfriend from high school to visit with me so I had her to do this exercise with me. I told her to time me for 10 minute. I am listening to my jazz from my desktop and begin to relax so I can concentrate on how I can to be more “open hearted, sensitive, generous, and a lot more intimate with less emotions…lol I became totally relaxed and I started to make a mental-to-do list within my brain on how I should be more open hearted when I do not want to be bother with other people’s concerns, how I should be more sensitive after I have told the person not to do something so their feelings would spare them from hurt feelings, how I am to be more generous when I do not want to share with nasty people, and how I am to be more intimate, WOW!!! I really like this part more….hmmm…lol
When the ten minutes were up I asked my girlfriend to recite the short poem on page 93 line by line I just could not reminder the words because my mind so relaxed and my eyes close.
I believe more intimacy has many ways you can foster greater wellness. The body enjoys the pleasures that it receives and the mind is relaxed. This is a great way of exercising the body and mind while you enjoy the pleasure of a love one so you can adventure on how you can be more “open hearted, sensitive, generous, and a lot more intimate with less emotions with that person
Integral Assessment exercise
I had my girlfriend to assist me in doing this exercise also.
I sat in my chair still relaxed from the first exercise. I closed my eyes and listen as she read this exercise. The more she read the more I felt disconnected towards this exercise.…dorothy
