Loving Kindness/Subtle Mind Exercises
My
experience listening to Loving Kindness again was no different from the last
time. My comments was, I was able to relax totally again and became
motionless.
I truly did not
like the part of the exercise when they want me to think of things that brought me pain.
I developed mix feelings leaving me upset, confuse, hurt and very sad. Its like I had
taken on all the burdens I had prayed to God to take from me to have those same burdens to reappear.
My experience
listening to the Subtle Mind exercise was very refreshing and rewarding for me.
This exercise really relaxed me and was able to do what was being asked of me
to do. I notice that I was able to control my mind and focus while I am doing
my breathing patterns. The exercise of listening to my breathing patterns was a
mind reliever for me and it allowed me to remove all the heavy stuff I have
been dealing with for a couple of weeks and I really needed a break from. The
sound of the water calmed my restless mind and put my mind into a still mind.
When I
completed this exercise my mind was clear to let me rethink how I needed to address
this problem I’ve been dealing with for weeks. Before I did this exercise I had
no clue how to address the problem.

Spiritual –wellness to Mental and physical wellness
These
three elements are so important in my personal life because it keeps me
balance.
I am
dealing with a private and personal problem which has cause me to face making
an important decision of what I need to do about my life so I won’t fail in
life or succeed to become victorious.
My
spiritual-wellness is very important to me to stay connect with Jesus Christ.
God’s words regulate my mind and keep me focus when Satan wants to leave me
with fear and doubt so he can attack my mental state of my mind to have me to
think I am worthless and scared to face any problem I need to face without
confidence.
My
physical wellness at my age is a great concern to me. The physical fitness
program really helps keep me physically fit. I enjoy working out in the gym and
eating well balance meals daily. I feel more in control of my life and I am not
so tired at the end of the day. My energy level is high which keeps active. I look forward to enjoying my last fifty years
without pain and stress.
Young minds are full of curiosity
Old minds are mature and become wise for what we have learned
Young bodies are strong and can endure more
Old bodies need to preserve their bodies to enjoy life
with no pressures the world has to offer
Young souls are seeking to be saved
Old souls know they are saved and waiting to save
a soul for Jesus Christ.....dorothy

ReplyDeleteI hope that you are guided in your personal issues to one that is right for you. In times of emotional need it is great that you look to God, because some people tend to shy away from him when they really need him most.
I find these exercises to difficult for some reason and I still have not figured out why! I will have to try these again. I to had a hard time with the Loving Kindness exercise when it came to taking in all that pain and it left me emotionally, mentally, physically and even spiritually drained.
